Senoia forum is Tuesday

Due to recent inquiries from local citizens, the three candidates for the City Council Post 4 position in Senoia will be meeting on Tuesday, October 27 for a political forum.  This special event will be held at the Municipal Court (located in the shared site with the Police Department) at 505 Howard Road in Senoia.  It is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.  

The moderator for the evening will be local resident Tray Baggarly.

The candidates for the Post 4 Council seat are as follows (alphabetically): Doris Chappell, Bobby Graham (incumbent), and Don Rehman.

Maurice Grover, current Council member for Post 3, is running unopposed.  

The city election is November 3.

The Senoia Optimist Club is the sponsor for the October 27 forum.  This club, chartered in 1985, is a local civic organization that serves youth and the community. It is not affiliated with any political party or candidate, and it is not involved with the questions or topics developed for this forum.

Among the purposes associated with all of the clubs worldwide that are part of Optimist International is the following: “To promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs”.

Citizens of Senoia are encouraged to attend the October 27 political forum for the City Council candidates in an effort to better understand each candidate’s position on various issues affecting the City.  Please note that seating will be limited.
