Gerard van Grinsven, president and CEO of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, will be the guest speaker for the Newnan-Coweta Chamber’s NuLink Early Bird Forum Tuesday, Oct. 27, 7:30-9 a.m. at The Newnan Centre, 1515 Lower Fayetteville Rd. in Newnan.
Mr. van Grinsven joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America in 2013, “inspired by a personal vision to take integrative cancer care to a new level of clinical excellence and a commitment to deliver unparalleled patient satisfaction,” according to a spokesperson.
CTCA is a national network of five cancer care hospitals that specialize in the treatment of patients fighting complex or advanced-stage cancer.
A native of Maastricht, Netherlands, van Grinsven has a distinguished career in both the healthcare and hospitality industries. Prior to joining CTCA, he served as a senior executive with the Henry Ford Health System (Detroit), where he was president and CEO of its award-winning, 192-bed West Bloomfield Hospital. He also served as part of the global leadership team of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he opened 20 luxury hotels in Asia, the Middle East, South America and the United States.
