Forums for those running for elected office in Tyrone, Fayetteville, Peachtree City will be held in the coming weeks. The Fayetteville forum will be held on Oct. 8 while the forum for Tyrone and Peachtree City candidates will be held on Oct. 12.
The Fayetteville forum will be held at Sams Auditorium from 6-8 p.m. on Oct. 8. The forum for Peachtree City and Tyrone candidates will be held at Sandy Creek High School on Oct. 12 from 6-8 p.m.
The format for both forums will include introductions, questions from the panel and questions from the audience.
Both forums are sponsored by the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, the NAACP Fayette Branch, the Fayette County Democratic Committee, Fayette County Republican Party and the Fayette County Issues Tea Party.
