The Senoia Optimist Club will be hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 3, 8-11 a.m. at the Senoia Masonic Lodge on Main Street. Volunteers from the club will serve pancakes, sausage, juice, milk, and hot coffee.

Tickets are $5 for the all-you-can-eat breakfast. Kids under 3 will eat for free.

Proceeds from the breakfast will allow the Senoia Optimists to support local high school students with annual scholarships as well as other youth programs and activities in the community.

The club presents two scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the area. The Jim Nations Memorial Scholarship is presented to a senior at East Coweta High School who will be pursuing higher education in the career/technical area. A traditional scholarship is also awarded to a senior at Northgate High School.
