Who better than our veterans to hand out American flags at an Independence Day Parade? As is their tradition, the veterans organizations of Fayette County will be at the front of the Peachtree City parade and have again joined together to present flags along the parade route. Members of The American Legion Post 105, American Legion Post 50 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9949 are shown with just a few of the thousands of flags, made in America, they will be handing out. Pictured are Ben Bauman, VFW Post 9949, Dave Niebes, American Legion Post 105, Frank Aktabowski, American Legion Post 50, Ann Aktabowski, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 50, and Denny Leander, American Legion Post 105.
