A New Player Tennis League is gearing up at the Peachtree City Tennis Center. Registration is underway and the deadline is Sept. 8, with play beginning Sept. 11.
The center’s goal for the fall and winter is to introduce match play to 30 new-to-tennis players.
The league is free and open to all new players in the community. Play is held on Friday at the tennis center so there is no travel. The center will have a coach on hand to assist with play, scoring, and match enjoyment.
Matches will run from 10 a.m. until noon. There will be an end-of-season lunch Oct. 23. Play in as many weeks as you can; the center will make a schedule.
