The Piedmont Fayette Hospital Auxiliary, a group of volunteers that supports the hospital, also recently offered its support to Healing Bridge Clinic, a group whose mission is to provide free primary health care to the uninsured and the underinsured of Fayette, Coweta and South Fulton counties.

The Auxiliary selected Healing Bridge as the beneficiary of its annual banquet, donating $750 cash and numerous items that the clinic needed, including umbrellas, blankets, hairbrushes, combs, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, deodorant and body wash among other items.

The Healing Bridge Clinic makes a difference in the lives of close to 35,000 people in the community, according to a hospital statement. Anyone interested in helping, either by donating items, money or time, can visit healingbridgeclinic.org for more information.
