James Peter Carroll, 88, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away on March 20th, 2015.

Mr. Carroll was born in Woodstock, Ill., to the late William Michael Carroll, Sr., and Dorothy Lemmers Carroll.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and after his service, he went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame in 1951. Mr. Carroll founded James P. Carroll Associates, Inc., in South Bend, Ind.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Shelba Jean Carroll; daughter Teresa Carroll; sons Vincent (Terri) Carroll, Patrick (April) Carroll, Philip (Donna) Carroll and Joseph (Lori) Carroll; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Mary Carroll.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Basilica at the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Ind.
