0Public schools in Fayette and Coweta counties will be open Thursday but schools will open two hours later than usual.
Though the winter storm did not produce the conditions that were forecast, both school systems advised parents to check for weather updates due to the potential for hazardous driving conditions early Thursday morning and to refer to the school systems’ websites for up-to-date information.
