0Eleanor Morris Pitman, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away January 25, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Teed Pitman, Jr.; her parents, William and Rosalie Morris; her sister, Jackie Bumbaugh; and her son, Rusty Pitman.
She is survived by her sons, Wesley Pitman (Laura) of Chattanooga, Andy Pitman (Lisa) of Fayetteville; her daughter Kaaren Bartlett (Wayne), of Marietta; daughter-in-law Robin Pitman of Seattle; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Irene Martin (Bob) of Blairsville.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randy Strickland and Rev. E. Parks Davis officiating. The interment will be immediately after the service at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
