SMSGT US Air Force Ret. Robert Richard Duquette, born in 1934 in Northbridge, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home in Fayetteville, Georgia, on August 13, 2016, leaving behind a lifetime of love, service, and dedication to his family and country. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 30 years, a career that reflected his deep sense of duty, honor, and commitment.
Robert met the love of his life, Sally Ann Duquette, while they were both serving in the United States Air Force at the Pentagon. Together they built a life centered on family, laughter, and helping others. They enjoyed playing bingo together and spent many years volunteering with Meals on Wheels, bringing meals and kindness to members of their community.
He was preceded in death by his two sons, Brian Robert Duquette and Guy Richard Duquette.
Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Dawn Allison Duquette, and her spouse, Lolli Duquette. He is also remembered by his daughter in law, Stella, wife of his deceased son, Guy Duquette.
Robert and Sally are laid to rest side by side at Fort Logan National cemetery.
