Forest came into the shelter like many other beautiful dogs, as a stray that no one reclaimed. At 65 lbs he is not a little pup, but walking him is fun and unexpectedly easy. He has incredibly cute bat ears, the biggest smile on Earth, and can show you a little “teethy” smile if you ask him to. He is approximately 2 years old.
What Forest needs is the same, again, as most of our dogs need. A home that will keep him moderately active with walks, playtime or backyard time. A person that understands the 3:3:3 decompression process and follows through with offering him time and space to decompress, learn new routines, and find his true self. Love, cuddles, structure.
Forest is a good dog. He is smart, eager to learn and always ready to spend time working on commands. He is housebroken and about to steal your heart!!

The Fayette County Animal Shelter is located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Forest is ready! Are you?
