FAYETTEVILLE, GA – While summer is still in full swing, Bloom is already preparing to help foster children across Georgia head back to school with confidence. On Wednesday, July 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Bloom will host its annual Back to School Drive-a-Thon, a convenient drive-thru donation event where community members can drop off new school supplies that will directly benefit children and families impacted by foster care.

We’re excited to expand the event with three convenient drop-off locations, thanks to our generous community partners, Line Creek Brewery and The Pink Chair.

Drive-Thru Drop-Off Locations

Fayetteville

Bloom Volunteer & Donation Center: 115 Marquis Drive, Fayetteville

Peachtree City

Line Creek Brewery: 150 Huddleston Rd., Peachtree City

Senoia

The Pink Chair: 15 Barnes St., Senoia

“Every child deserves to walk into their classroom feeling prepared and confident,” said Becky Davenport, President & CEO of Bloom. “For children in foster care, something as simple as a new backpack or school supplies can serve as a reminder that their community sees them, supports them, and believes in them.”

Donations collected during the Drive-a-Thon will help stock Bloom’s resource centers and provide foster families with the essential supplies children need for a successful school year.

Most Needed Items

  • Crayola crayons (24-pack or larger; Crayola brand only)
  • Composition notebooks (1 subject)

  • 3-ring binders

Additional Needs

  • Clear backpacks

Whether you’re donating supplies, volunteering your time, or organizing a collection drive with your workplace, church, neighborhood, or civic group, every contribution helps ensure a child in foster care begins the school year feeling prepared, supported, and cared for.
