FAYETTEVILLE, GA – April 21, 2026 – Senator Blake Tillery, who is seeking the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, visited Fayetteville on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Senator Tillery began his visit with a well-attended meet-and-greet at Java & Brie, where he connected with local residents and shared his vision for Georgia’s future. He later addressed the Fayette Republican Women, discussing the challenges facing the state and the conservative solutions he will champion as Lieutenant Governor.
Tillery’s visit comes as his campaign continues to build strong support across Georgia, including significant backing from leaders in Fayette and Coweta Counties.
In Fayette County, Tillery is endorsed by Sheriff Barry Babb, Former Senator Ronnie Chance, and County Commissioner Lee Hearn. In Coweta County, endorsers include County Commissioners Bob Blackburn and Bill McKenzie, Senator Matt Brass, Representative David Jenkins, Former Representative Billy Horne, Former Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, Sheriff Leonard (Lenn) Wood, and Former Sheriff Mike Yeager.
These local endorsements are part of a broader coalition of more than 360 current and former federal, state, and local leaders from across Georgia who have endorsed Blake Tillery for Lieutenant Governor. These leaders include sheriffs, legislators, county commissioners, mayors, school board members, constitutional officers, and respected community leaders who know Blake’s record, trust his leadership, and are standing with him in this race.
“This is a movement,” said Tillery. “I’m honored that so many trusted leaders from every corner of our state are supporting our campaign and believe in my vision for Georgia. Their support reflects a shared commitment to steady, conservative leadership that puts our families and our pocketbooks first.”
The campaign emphasized that these endorsements help personalize a statewide race by connecting voters with leaders they already know and trust.
“When Georgians see the names of people they respect, standing with Blake, it matters,” said Michelle Tarbutton Sandrock, Tillery for Georgia campaign manager. “This level of support reflects Blake’s years of service, his integrity, and the trust he has earned by delivering for Georgians. This is a major moment for our campaign.”
The Tillery campaign continues to expand its grassroots network, with organized Team Tillery leadership in all 159 counties and a rapidly growing coalition of supporters committed to electing a true conservative as Lieutenant Governor.
