Final revival service is tonight
True Love Christian Ministries in Fayetteville concludes its summer revival tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 20, with the final service at 7 p.m. The host pastor is Elder Nathaniel Livingston. TLCM is a leadership church in the Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF), which seeks unity among area churches.  TLCM is located in Fayette County at 192 Graves Road, just off of Gingercake Road.

PTCUMC launches new family worship
Peachtree City United Methodist Church will launch its new family worship, “Messy Church,” this Wednesday, Aug. 20. at its Robinson Road campus, 225 Robinson Rd. Messy Church will help to connect people’s messy lives with a mighty faith. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for those who have pre-ordered dinner. COS celebrates Music Weekend
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will celebrate Music Weekend Aug. 23-24. The COS Winds will provide music at the Sunday 8:30 and 11 services; these are members of the brass, flute, and clarinet choirs. Karl Dietmeyer is their conductor. The church’s collection of musical instruments will be on display, acquired through gifts and purchases. Besides wind instruments, the church rings more than 100 American and Flemish handbells. Musicians will be available to demonstrate instruments and provide information.

Holly Grove revival set for next week
Holly Grove African Methodist (AME) Episcopal Church in Peachtree City will hold its Summer Revival Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 25-27, at 7:30 p.m.  The host pastor is the Rev. Larry Ervin. The guest preachers for the revival will be the Rev. Fred Forsh of Liberty Hill AME Church in Sharpsburg on Monday, the Rev. Rena Taylor of Neriah Baptist Church in Senoia on Tuesday, and the Rev. Keith Alexander of St. Luke AME Church in Atlanta on Wednesday. Holly Grove AME Church is a leadership church in the locally based Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF), which is open to all interested churches and individuals.  Holly Grove is at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., just off the south end of Robinson Road.

Choir to celebrate anniversary
The Singing The Lord’s Praise Sanctuary Choir will  celebrate its 8th anniversary Aug. 31 at 2:30 p.m. at the Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church, 175 Booker Ave., Fayetteville. The theme is “We Serve a Great God.” For directions to the church call 770-719-8722. The Rev. Kimberly Lyons is pastor.

Line Creek Baptist to host singing
Line Creek Baptist Church, formerly in Fayette County, now in Coweta, invites the community to its annual singing, Friday, Sept. 5, from 7:30 – 10 p.m. at the church, 1488 Bob Smith Road, Sharpsburg.
