Christopher James Hagberg, 19, of Peachtree City, passed away June 14, 2014 as a result of seizures.

He was currently enrolled at Georgia Military College; enjoyed drawing, gaming and animation. He had been a leader in the VOICES program at McIntosh High School where he graduated last year.

Christopher is survived by his parents Marty and Jim Hagberg; sister Crystal Rhodes and husband Jason; brother SSGT, U.S. Army Travis Linnstaedter; grandmother Janet Zuerner; nieces Michelle and Lauren Rhodes; uncles Reverend John F. Hagberg and wife Marilyn and Ross Zuerner and wife Frieda. Christopher’s giving cheerful presence will be missed by many other friends and family as well.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church. Reverend Miriam Beecher will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church. The family requests donations to Christ Our Shepherd Youth Group in lieu of flowers.
