Ivan is a handsome 5-year-old Labrador mix with a gorgeous honey-colored coat and the kind of soft, soulful eyes that stop you in your tracks. At around 80 pounds, he’s a big, huggable teddy bear who brings calm sweetness and quiet gratitude everywhere he goes.
From day one, Ivan has been a volunteer favorite. He’s easy, gentle, and wonderfully affectionate. He smiles, loves car rides, adores being with people, and takes everything in stride. He’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and seems unbothered by cats and all the shelter bustle. Nothing seems to ruffle this boy’s peaceful spirit. He’s great with kids, but he doesn’t always know his own size, so caution is recommended with smaller children.
Ivan is the kind of dog who fits in anywhere. Ivan is available for adoption at Fayette County Animal Shelter, located at 1131 Highway 74 South in Peachtree City. The shelter is open seven days a week—Monday through Friday from 11–5, and weekends from 12–5. Come meet Ivan and experience the joy of this warm-hearted companion.
