The McIntosh High School Hall of Fame is back and asking the community for nominations for its next class.
After a three-year hiatus, the McIntosh High School Hall of Fame returns with a celebration weekend March 6-7, 2026. Nominations are welcome at any time. To be considered for the 2026 class of inductees, the deadline is October 30, 2025.
Nominees are considered for athletic accomplishments or as Distinguished Alumni and must be at least 5 years post-graduate or employment from McIntosh. Nominees are evaluated on the body of their work.
New this year will be the inclusion of Community Champions. Nominees for Community Champions are businesses who have been longtime supporters who significantly contributed to and positively impacted MHS.
Past inductees run a wide range, including NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player Jeff Sheppard, TV personality Rutledge Wood, beloved teachers, and state championship-winning teams.
