Mary (McCafferty) Korb, 86 died Saturday, September 13th, 2025, in Columbia, MD. She leaves behind a legacy of Love, Family, and Dedication.
Mary was born on September 8th, 1939, in Pittsburgh PA to Edward and Margaret McCafferty. In 1963 she married Bobby Farell and had three loving daughters.
She retired from Delta Air Lines after a dedicated 25-year career as an inflight supervisor. Following her retirement, she generously gave her time volunteering at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital working in the gift shop where she formed many lasting friendships.
Above all, Mary considered her greatest achievement to be raising her three daughters. Her devotion, love, and encouragement will be remembered always by those who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Farrell and her husband Leon Korb. She is survived by her three daughters, Maura (David Perine) of Franklin, TN; Tara (Ivan Gorsky) of Ellicott City, MD; Shannon (Jay Rogers) of Peachtree City, GA; Nine Grandchildren: Sean, Ellen, Conor, Bridget, Matthew, John, Ryan, Mary, and Michael and Five Great-Grandchildren: Ryan, Abigail, Liam, Rosie, and Jack.
Services to honor Mary’s life will be announced by the family at a later date.
