Re-Election Announcement from Councilwoman Dr. Niyah Glover, November 4

Dear Fayetteville,

I am honored to announce my candidacy for re-election to the Fayetteville City Council on November 4. Serving you has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and I ask for your continued trust to keep building a city that works for every family, every neighborhood, and every generation.

During my service, I was humbled to receive the Yellow Rose Servant Leadership Award, which recognizes leaders who serve with vision, compassion, and dedication. I am also proud to have launched the Fayetteville Mental Health Initiative, a program designed to connect residents with resources, raise awareness, and strengthen support for youth, families, and older adults. Mental health is a cornerstone of community well-being, and this initiative reflects my commitment to improving quality of life for all.

In addition, I operate two businesses in Fayetteville: the Essential Medical and Mental Health Institute, which provides allied health education and workforce development, and my counseling practice, which delivers care to individuals and families. These experiences give me firsthand insight into the needs of residents, students, and small business owners.

On the council, I have worked to improve communication with residents, support local businesses, and promote initiatives that make our city safe, welcoming, and vibrant. Looking ahead, I will continue to focus on infrastructure, public safety, beautification, economic growth, and preserving Fayetteville’s unique character.

With your support, we can continue moving Fayetteville forward. Please make your voice heard on November 4.

With gratitude,

Councilwoman Dr. Niyah Glover, Post 5
