If you’ve ever visited Night Market, you’ve seen the results of Teresa Denton’s dedication—even if you haven’t seen her. As the event’s Vendor Coordinator, Teresa is the heartbeat behind the scenes, making sure every booth, every vendor, and every detail runs smoothly.
Now in her second season with Night Market, Teresa has quickly become a trusted volunteer and a favorite among vendors. With a background in event planning—including organizing a bluegrass festival back home in Tennessee—she brought both experience and heart to the role. From her first day, she embraced the existing system, improved it, and has continued refining it ever since.
Vendors frequently comment on how organized, efficient, and genuinely welcoming Teresa is. Her personal approach—stopping by each booth, checking in on vendors, and often buying a small treasure or two—creates a warm, supportive atmosphere that helps the entire market thrive.
Earlier this year, Teresa was honored with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, recognizing her deep commitment to helping others. But for Teresa, Night Market is more than logistics—it’s about connection. She’s proud to be part of something that brings people together, and her energy and kindness make the experience better for everyone involved.
