A group from the Greater Fayette Republican Women’s Club recently got together to get boxes ready for mailing in support of their Patriot Packages initiative.  They send boxes containing toiletries, snacks, and books to family and friends of their members. The most recent recipients were Rob Todd, son of Dr. Bob and Judy Todd of Fayetteville, and Kevin McMullen, nephew of Bernie and Cathy McMullen of Peachtree City, both of whom are in the U.S. Army and now deployed to Afghanistan.

The Greater Fayette Republican Women’s Club, which was founded twenty five years ago, works to facilitate cooperation among Republican women in Fayette County and promote the ideals and candidates of the Republican Party.

The club is sponsoring a Candidate Meet and Greet on May 16 at Peachtree City Christian Church.  Republican gubernatorial candidates and candidates for other state offices will be attending to share information in an informal setting.  This is being presented as a public service.  There will be no charge and everyone is welcome to attend.
