Fayetteville Main Street received a $1,500 donation on Monday from the Rotary Club of Fayetteville. The donation will help pay for design services for a new “Welcome to Fayetteville” sign that will replace the current sign located at the Hwy 54W split, in front of the new Regions Bank building. Main Street Director, Brian Wismer (center) hopes to have a final design available for public viewing later this spring, with construction beginning later in the year. Also pictured, from left, are City Councilman Al Hovey-King, Main Street Chairman Lane Brown, Rotary President Tony Fritz, and Rotary Vice-President Cathy Cochran. Photo/Special.
