0Mrs. Katie Howard of Tyrone passed away February 1, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Ray Howard of Tyrone; sons, Billy R. Howard and his wife Linda of Tyrone; daughters, Connie Bryant and her husband Perry of Sharpsburg; Brenda Presley and her husband Gerald of Senoia; sister, Genora Jenkins of Delano, Tenn.; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Pastor Phillip Edge, Pastor Colin Duncan and Pastor Charles Dowdy officiated. Interment followed at Sharon Memorial Gardens.

The family received friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11 until service time at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 770-964-4800.
