David Yates Chappell, III, 70 of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014.

He is survived by his wife Lois Chappell of Fayetteville; daughter Cindy Boyd of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law Diane Boyd of W.Va; granddaughters Kelly & Allison; sister Christine & Jim Conner of Lake Mary, Fla.; uncle Reverend Fred Reese of Columbia, S.C.; niece Larissa Roberts; numerous cousins& extended family.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church. Reverend Mark Westmoreland will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1to 2 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 E. Lanier Ave., Fayetteville, Ga. 30214.
