Daisy “Fret” Thomas, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away January 2, 2014.

She is survived by her daughter Charita (Phil) Jones of Brighton, England; son Craig (Tanya) Thomas of Fayetteville; daughter Cindi Walker of Fayetteville; son Curt (Ada) Thomas of Philadelphia, Penn.; grandchildren Katryna, Krystin, Nafis, Aja (Kenneth), Ariana, Christopher, Ciani, Akia, Harvey, Edgar, and Darrell; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters: Lonia Mae Jackson of Capital Heights, Md., Marguerite (Bill) Tabb of Wayne, Penn., Carolyn Jackson, J. Juanita Jackson, and Beryl Jackson, all of Mesquite,Texas.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Fayetteville First Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Reverend Glenn Stringham, Reverend Jim Thomas, and Reverend Jason Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations in her memory to Fayetteville First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 205 East Stonewall Avenue, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214.
