Peggy (Edna T.) Sedon, 92, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away September 29, 2013.
Peggy was born in Woodland, Ga., on December 14, 1920, to Robert and Clifford Trussell. On June 30, 1948, she married Harold Sedon in Atlanta, Ga. They resided in Warren, Pa., for 33 years before retiring to Georgia in 1981. Peggy was a bookkeeper retiring from Whirley Industries. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf as well as gardening and watching “her” Atlanta Braves.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sedon.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Ben) Mathis of Winchester, Va.; son, Jim (Pat) Sedon of Midland, Mich.; and daughter, Joan Christiansen of Peachtree City, Ga.; grandchildren, Jill (J.W.) Pangle, Julie (Amy) Mathis, Scott Mathis, David Mathis, Jon (Kate) Sedon and Mindy (Jim) Dykowski; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Joshua, Samuel, Cullen, Thomas, and Finley, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 until 2 p.m..
