Cornerstone Baptist plans Men’s Day
Cornerstone Baptist Church of Peachtree City will have its Annual Men’s Day worship service, “Man Up,” Sunday, Sept. 15, from 9  – 10 a.m. Guest speaker is Congressman David Scott. Cornerstone is at 640 Ebenezer Church Road, Fayetteville. For more information, call the church, 770-631-0777.

Middle school fellowship starts at WOG
Wednesday, Sept. 18 is the kickoff night for middle school fellowship at Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City.  Each Wednesday all sixth through eighth  graders are invited to meet at 6:30 p.m. for dinner, discussions on age appropriate topics, lessons, games, and singing. They will also talk about this summer’s mission trip and begin planning for next summer’s mission trip. For questions, call Danny Bell, 404-579-3521. New Hope will host women’s gathering
Touching Hearts Ministries will present “Coming Alive:  A Gathering for Women,” Saturday, Sept. 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.  at New Hope Baptist Church North, 551 New Hope Rd. Fayetteville. The event will feature testimonies, worship and guest speakers Martha Wilson, Robin Dixon, Kim Stanley, Toni Hebel and Daphne Williams. GriefShare starts Oct. 1 at FBCPTC
GriefShare is being offered at the First Baptist Church, Peachtree City,  starting Oct. 1.  This is a 13-week Christian grief recovery group for those who have lost loved ones.  Each session is self-contained, so one can begin attending at any time.  The group will meet every Tuesday from 2  until 3:30 p.m. in room 504 at the FBCPTC.  To pre-register or learn more about the program, contact either Ron or Carol Purvis at 770-502-9775.
