Wayne Alan Adams, 53, of Alford Drive in Fayetteville, died on Saturday, August 24 in south Fayette County from injuries sustained in a pedestrian-auto accident.

He was a pure hearted brother, uncle, and friend. His innocent humor brightened even the worst day. With a big smile and a compliment, he befriended everyone he met. Words cannot describe the great influence Wayne had on the people he knew throughout his fulfilling life. His compassion and love is inspirational. Through his dancing and comedic personality, Wayne touched the hearts of many people. Fittingly, in the words of his favorite song (“Preacher”), “he was a million miles from a million dollars, but you could never spend his wealth.”

Wayne’s zest for life and dancing skills are immortalized on his You Tube channel at http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF3rTT94sYYN7jqlAoIrFkw or search for waynebow dancing to bon bon bon.

Wayne’s family extends their heartfelt thanks to the people of Fayette County who were so kind to Wayne especially the employees of St. John’s Crossing BP, Fayette Counseling Services, Starbucks on S. Glynn, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and the Fayetteville Police Department, along with the residents of Wyngate subdivision and Alford Drive.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Charlie O. Adams; mother, Evelyn L. Dean Johnson; and sister Glenda Hiott.

He is survived by his two brothers, Timothy Adams (Stephanie) and Kelley Adams (Patricia); two sisters, Charlene Wacaser (Bobby) and Shelly Lee (Rusty); and former sister-in-law, Jean (Reggie) Harris. He will forever be in the hearts of his nieces, Whitney Delk, Jessica Wacaser, Mallory Farrell, and Kayla Adams; his nephews, Joshua Adams, Matthew Cox, Mark Cox, Kyle Adams, and Brennen Wacaser; great-nephew, Sage Delk; and great-niece, Dessie Delk.
