James “Jim” Needham, 76, of Peachtree City, passed away August 4, 2013.

He was a loving husband, devoted father and exemplary grandfather. His love of golf started from his receiving the Evans Caddy Scholarship and attended the University of Wisconsin. His profession with Bristol-Meyers-Squibb moved him all over the West Coast. After retiring to Peachtree City in 2007, he stayed active in the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City, the K-Kids at Peeples Elementary and the Builders Club at Rising Starr Middle School. He also became a Master Gardener through classes at the University of Georgia. He volunteered his time every Saturday for the Catholic Church and assisted with the Atlanta Food Banks.

Mr. Needham is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Louise Needham of Peachtree City; daughter Kathleen & John Hargrove of Peachtree City; grandchildren, Matthew, Melanie and Mia; sister, Rosemary & Mario Guaitamacchi of San Carlos, Ca. and brother, John & Felicia Needham of Chicago, Ill.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, 200 Robinson Road, Peachtree City, Ga. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 until 12.
