Dennis W. Dodge of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away July 29, 2013. Mr. Dodge was born in Madison, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Irene Dodge and his sister, Phyllis.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marcia Dodge of Peachtree City, Georgia and their son, Mark Dodge of Newnan, Ga.; cousins and sisters and brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
In 1980, Dennis and his family came to Peachtree City with the Fasson Corporation, currently Avery Label. From there, his career led him to the Nordson Corporation where he retired after 25 years as their Senior Applications Sales Engineer. Nordson gave him the opportunity to travel the world, which he loved and meeting new people. Early in life, he was a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America where he earned his God and Country Award of which he was extremely proud.
Peachtree City has been home for the last 32 years and as he always said, “You don’t have to shovel sunshine.” He will be greatly missed by those that loved and cared for him.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City.
