0Rayford “Ray” Cole, 84, of Fayetteville passed away July 27, 2013.
Besides his country he dedicated his life to Christ and church work, as a minister of music and education. He was a friend to everyone and devoted his love to his wife and family, with a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years Suzan Cole; daughter Sidney & Ron Patterson; son Timothy & Heather Cole; daughter Sheryl & Richard Snyder; son Peter & Jennifer Cole; stepson Carlton & Paloa Basmajian; grandchildren Abby, Lindy, Kellie, Travis, Chris, Alyson, Brooke, Christine and Rachel; also 6 great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Fayetteville, Ga. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to the Ray Cole Scholarship Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch. The funds will be used for education.
