0Inez Davis White, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away January 27, 2016.
Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lewis White, Sr.; brothers, Edward Davis and Jerry Davis; sisters, Mildred Swygert and Pauline Babb; and her parents, Willie and Victoria Davis.
She is survived by her daughters, Renelle (Thomas) Perkins and Sheryl (Terry) Wilson; sons, Paul White, Jr. and Joel (Dede) White, Sr.; sister, Joyce (William) Babb; brother, Dean (Joyce) Davis; sister-in-law, Harriet Davis; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Inez was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, Easter egg hunts, and bingo. She was a faithful Christian who enjoyed working at Heatherwood Baptist Church.
A funeral service was held Monday, January 30, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Doug Johnson officiating. Burial took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, College Park. The family received friends Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 3 – 5 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pioneers, 10123 William Carey Drive, Orlando, Fla. 32832 for Michael Carlson or SCORE International, P.O. Box 9994, Chattanooga, Tenn., 37412 for Kenneth Perkins.
