Golf tourney set for April 24

Golfers may register now to play golf in the Third Annual Peachtree City Invitational scheduled for Monday, April 24, at Flat Creek Golf Course. The event will raise funds to support Operation Homefront pro- grams serving America’s – and the region’s – military families.

There will be a shotgun start at noon. The invitational includes golfing at the pristine Flat Creek Golf Course, hole-in-one prizes, lunch, cocktail hour, raffle, and silent auction.

The event will be highlighted by an air show featuring the Falcon RV Squadron’s flyover of home-built high-performance aircraft in a Missing Man formation and the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation’s landing of a Cobra Helicopter.

Guests during lunch will hear inspirational stories from wounded warriors who have benefited from Operation Homefront’s programs.
