Clarence Calvin Monroe, Sr., 81, of Fayetteville passed away May 24, 2017. He served in the U.S. Navy. Clarence worked for Ford Motor Company. Clarence is survived by his wife, Carol Monroe; son, Clarence Monroe, Jr. and wife, Tammy; daughters, Donna Kennedy and husband, Keith and Tammy Appling and husband, Tommy; sister, Florence Harrison; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Friday, May 26, 2017, at 11 a.m., at Lisbon Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Burial followed at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. The family received friends Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
