Nina Sykes Divins, 89, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was born in Paris, Tenn., the daughter of the late Ewing and Jesse Sykes.
Nina worked many years as a legal secretary for the Dolores Daniel Law Firm. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Nina was predeceased by her husband, Willard (Bill) L. Divins.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Sue Divins of Chicago, Ill., Leslie Ann Gross of Alexandria, Pa., and Ellen Kaye Divins of Jonesboro, Ga.; son, Howard Sykes Divins of Huntington, Pa; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ellen Hensley of Overland Park, Kan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 101 N. Peachtree Pkwy, Peachtree City, Ga., with Rev. Miriam Beecher and Rev. Fritz Wiese officiating.
