Carlos Vargas, 75 died Sunday July 29, 2018 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta Georgia after a year long battle with multiple myeloma.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Maria Idalia Vargas; son Carlos Mario Vargas, and daughters Martha Arango and Olga Floyd; 6 grandchildren, Matteo Arango, Luciana Arango, Lexi Floyd, Graham Floyd, Lilli and Emma Floyd and many friends and family members who loved him dearly.
Mr. Vargas was born in Colombia, South America on September 17, 1942. He came to the United States at the age of 21 where he worked as a Journeyman Lineman starting in Illinois and New Mexico and retiring in 2002.
Mr. Vargas was a devout Catholic and family man. He loved gardening and spending time with his family.
Service was held at Saint Matthews Catholic Church, 215 Kirkley Rd, Tyrone. Ga. on Saturday August 4 at 10 a.m.
