An old-fashioned block party drew nearly 1,000 students and their families to Fayette Middle last Monday. Dressed in costumes, participants enjoyed trick-or-treating, live music performed by the school’s chorus and orchestra, face painting, crafts, jumping on inflatable bouncers, and taking train rides. The Fayetteville fire and Fayetteville police departments were also in attendance to help with the festivities.
