0The young Wildcats made their mark as the Whitewater Middle band program played at the Music in the Parks competition at Six Flags.
Both competing ensembles excelled against great competition.
The beginning band earned a Superior rating and 1st place in the AA division. They earned the overall high score of the day for all of the middle and high school bands.
The 8th grade band performed for an extremely tough panel of judges in the Southern Star competition and earned a rating of Silver, just one point away from Gold. They were the highest scoring middle school band in their class.
The Whitewater Middle band program is under the direction of Steven Charity.
