An anonymous Citizen sent us more evidence today that Trader Joe’s is coming to The Avenue in Peachtree City in the former Books-a-Million spot.
Besides the unauthorized affirmation we got from an employee at The Avenue yesterday, today The Citizen was sent a copy of the building permit for the renovations underway at the former Books-a-Million
Permit number PCA25-0007 was approved on 2/28/25 and is for “Shell Renovations (Interior & Exterior) of Existing Retail Structure for Future Grocery Tenant.” That permit is pictured with this article.
This Editor is looking forward to buying her Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo and Body Wash locally instead of in Atlanta, along with jicama sticks, the best corn chips known to man, and chocolate covered caramels that summon your favorite deity.
