Betty Jean Roberts, 76, of Fayetteville, passed away on September 24, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her son, Nicky Roberts. She is survived by her husband, George Roberts, and cousins.

Mrs. Roberts attended Woolsey Baptist Church, where she was a member.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. Chuck Chambers and Aaron Turner officiated. The burial followed at Whitewater Cemetery, Brooks.

The family received friends on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
