Lucille Daum Trimble passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

Lucille was born January 13, 1915 in Atlanta, Ga. She lived most of her life in the Atlanta Metro area. She owned a catering business for years. She was a member of the East Point Christian Church for 40 years and a current, active member of Fayetteville Christian Church, living in Fayetteville the last 37 years. A longtime member of East Point Woman’s club and Fayette Homemaker’s Club, she was a founding member of Christian City, Inc.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Raymond “Ray” Trimble.

She is survived by her daughter Nora Blair of Fayetteville; grandsons Paul Blair and his wife Janet of Locust Grove, Dwight Blair and his wife Kimberly of Duluth, and Clifford Blair and his wife Gillian of Matthews, N.C., along with 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and brother Thomas Daum.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Fayetteville Christian Church with Pastor Cliff Blair, Reverend Dan Roberts, and Reverend Andrew Higle.

Mrs. Trimble will lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
