Homeowners’ assistance to be offered in Fayetteville June 30

New Beginnings Praise and Worship Center in Fayetteville will host a free Homeowners Assistance Event Saturday, June 30, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Hud certified counselors from NiD Housing Counseling Agency will be on hand to help homeowners with mortgage payment reduction, principal mortgage reduction, the unemployed program, the underemployed program, home buyer’s education, financial literacy and unemployment mortgage payment assistance for up to 18 months.

Those seeking assistance are asked to bring their monthly mortgage statement and information on other mortgages, the two most recent pay stubs for all household members contributing toward mortgage payments, if self-employed, the most recent quarterly or year-to-date profit and loss statement, documentation of income from other sources (alimony, child suport, Social Security, etc.), two most recent bank statements, a utility bill showing homeowner’s name and property address, and an unemployment insurance verification letter.
