Floyd Leonard “Len” Stowe, Jr., 66, of Fayetteville, passed away on April 25, 2012.

He was known as Reverend Len Stowe, Minister of Music for 44 years, currently serving at Sardis Baptist Church in Palmetto, Ga.

Mr. Stowe was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Leonard Stowe, Sr. and Marian Stowe.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Stowe of Fayetteville; daughters, LeAnne (Mike) Gable of Fayetteville and LaTisha (James) Campbell of Hampton; grandchildren, Bethany Gable, SarahGrace Gable, and Drew Gable, all of Fayetteville; and Landon Stowe of Hampton; brother, Joe (Gayle) Coombs of Dallas; brother-in-law, Mike Vaughan of Atlanta; nephews, Troy Coombs of Dallas and Trip (Tracy) Coombs, also of Dallas; and several cousins.

A funeral service was held on Sat., April 28, 2012 at 4 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rev. David Hammonds will officiate.

The burial followed at Lisbon Baptist Cemetery in Fayetteville, officiated by Rev. Carlton Swicegood.

The family received friends on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
