Itzel Marie Cartwright, age 92 of Fayetteville

Mrs. Itzel Marie Cartwright, age 92 of Fayetteville, passed away on Sun., April 8, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Cartwright was born in Cleveland, Tenn. on Sept. 7, 1919. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elbridge Fred Cartwright; parents, John W. Rice and Carlie Griffith. Mrs. Cartwright was a great wife, mother and grand-mother. She was a great cook and was a member of Woolsey Baptist Church.

Survivors include children, Doris Cartwright Jones, James Edward Cartwright and wife Judy, Donald Elbridge Cartwright and wife Pamela; grandchildren, Cheryl Gregory and husband Nickey, Alvin A. Jones III and wife Cindy, Jim Cartwright, Janice Phillips and husband Wesley, Danae Cochran and husband Jim, Donald Scott Cartwright, Melissa Bialoglow and husband William. Mrs. Itzel Cartwright has thirty great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Itzel Cartwright will be on Wed., April 11, 2012 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, Mrs. Cartwright’s funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Stacy Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow in Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
