Mrs. Leslye Puddy, of Peachtree City, Ga., formerly of Ruston, La., passed away on March 15, 2015 at the age of 108.

When asked about her longevity, she said she “just took a day at a time.” She loved everyone and never met a stranger. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved flowers and was a master flower judge.

Mrs. Puddy held two degrees from Louisiana Tech, in Ruston. She was South Carolinas’ oldest member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of the Ruston First Baptist Church for over 90 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Earl Puddy.

Mrs. Puddy is survived by her son, Dr. Robert Puddy and his wife Lynda; grandsons, Robert Kevin Puddy and his wife Nikki, and Christopher Brett Puddy; great-grandchildren Austin and Lauren Puddy, all of Peachtree City, Ga.
