Chabad of PTC to present Purim in China
Chabad of Peachtree City will present Purim in China, a Purim bash with a Chinese theme, Thursday, March 8, at 6 p.m. at 1201 Georgian Park, Peachtree City. The event will feature a full kosher Chinese meal, a masquerade contest, raffles, entertainment, and live music. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for children 5 and under. Word of God Lutheran plans Lenten events

St. Paul will hold weekly Lenten services
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will hold mid-week Lenten services on Wednesdays, March 7, 14, 21, and 28, at 5 and 7 p.m. with dinner between services at 6 p.m. The church is at 700 Ardenlee Pkwy. off Ga. Highway 74 in Peachtree City.
PTCUMC to host handbell festival
On Saturday, March 10, Peachtree City United Methodist Church Handbell Choirs will host the annual North Georgia Fellowship Handbell Festival to which handbell choirs from around the North Georgia area are invited. The public is invited to attend at 4 p.m. for an informal “ring through” concert at the Worship Center, 225 Robinson Road in Peachtree City. COS youth plan busy weekend
Middle School and High School youth will participate in the county-wide DiscipleNow this weekend. They will join with youth from 20 other churches for fellowship and worship, and they will contribute volunteer hours at Midwest Food Harvest and Heritage at Peachtree.
Praise band ‘one50’ will perform at COS
The high school praise band at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, “one50,” will be guest musicians at the 11 a.m. service on March 11. Besides playing a song by themselves, they will join Sanctuary Choir and Joyful Noise Ringers for an anthem, providing the rhythm section and vocalists. The Ringers will have participated on Saturday in a handbell festival at Peachtree City United Methodist Church.
