0The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department is hoping that surveillance video posted to YouTube will help reunite a local family with the ashes of their daughter.
One of the six clips shows two suspects entering a convenience store and having a conversation with an employee.
The video is clear enough that someone who knows the suspects will likely be able to recognize them.
One of the videos also shows the suspects’ vehicle pulling into a parking lot.
The videos may be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/user/FayetteSOCID.
The suspects are believed to be involved in the theft of not just the urn, but also “numerous items including electronics and jewelry,” officials said.
Anyone with information about the suspects’ identity or any other facet of the case is asked to call sheriff’s detectives at 770-716-4750.
