The Landmark Math Team recently competed at the GSW Mathematics Tournament. This was the team’s second year to compete.  And for the second year in a row, the team took first place in the single A classification. Eight Landmark students participated; all eight competed in a 90 minute written exam.  The top four scores were used for a portion of the overall school score. Those top four testers were Connor Swords, Samuel Choi, Brandon Wilde, and Rebecca Moody. Swords and Choi did well enough to place 1st and 2nd respectively in the GHSA single A individual classification.

There was also a ciphering round where two teams of two competed on timed questions. Swords and Wilde competed together while Choi and Holleman made up the other ciphering team.
