The Summit Family YMCA in Newnan will host a free Vibrant Living Expo for adults 55 and older, their families, and caregivers on Thursday, August 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event, themed “Get Up, Get Out, Get Vibrant! — Learn How to Thrive at Every Age,” will bring together health, wellness, financial, and community resources designed for active older adults.
More than 50 exhibitors are expected to participate, offering information on estate planning, 55+ communities, Social Security resources, insurance, healthy lifestyles, social groups, and other services.
Attendees will also have access to free health and wellness screenings, safety workshops, fraud prevention information, and guidance on protecting financial assets.
Because August is National Make-A-Will Month, attendees will have an opportunity to create a free will or trust during the event.
Fitness demonstrations and workshops will include Geri-Fit and Active Older Adult Strength. The expo will also feature brunch, bingo with prizes, activities, and other festivities.
The first 200 attendees will receive a free goodie bag and T-shirt.

The Vibrant Living Expo will be held at the Summit Family YMCA, 1765 Highway 34 East in Newnan.
